D Purnachandra Rao graduated from RVR&JC College of Engineering, Guntur, completed his post-graduation (M.Tech, Structural and Construction Engineering) from NIT Jalandhar, Punjab, Has gained hands of practical experience in his field had worked on many prestigious projects in Southern parts of India. He has worked on Structural Designs of High Rise Residential Buildings (upto 257m Height), Pharmaceutical Units, Hospitals, Industrial Steel Sheds, Textile Mills, Chemical Plants, and Shopping Malls etc.
Has extensively used Finite Element Method and its applications to Structural Engineering and also used Software Packages like STAAD.Pro and ETABS, SAFE, RCDC, Auto CAD, REVIT,. and have developed own Software Packages required in Structural Engineering Consultancy Office.
He is extremely familiar with all the Indian Standard codes. Has carried out Design management assignments, prepared design deliverable schedules and ensuring the quality of design deliverables of all disciplines including Architectural, Structural, Electrical and Mechanical Services to achieve optimized design solutions.
