D. Purnachandra Rao M.Tech (Structural Engineering):
D Purnachandra Rao graduated from RVR & JC College of Engineering and completed his post-graduation (M.Tech, Structural and Construction Engineering) from NIT Jalandhar, Punjab. Has gained hands-on experience in his field and has worked on many prestigious projects in southern parts of India. He has worked on structural designs of high-rise buildings (up to 60 floors), hospitals, industrial steel sheds, pharmaceutical production units, chemical plants, shopping malls etc.
He is well-versed with all the Indian Standard codes. Has carried out design management assignments, prepared design deliverable schedules, and ensured the quality of design deliverables of all disciplines, including architectural, structural, electrical and mechanical services to achieve optimized design solutions.
He has been pioneer in providing considerable assistance for developing
IS 1893:2025 (Criteria for Earthquake Resistant Design of Structures) &
IS 13920:2025 (Earthquake Resistant Design and Detailing of Structures—Code of Practice)
